Solar power your home with an Interest Free Green Loan!!
The Australian Government Green Loans Program aims to help thousands of Australian homes to install solar power, solar hot water and energy efficient products by providing interest free loans of up to $10,000.
Through the Green Loans Program, householders will be able to access a free, comprehensive Home Sustainability Assessment to reduce your energy and water bills, increase the comfort of your home and help reduce damaging carbon pollution.
This independent assessment by a qualified expert assessor will provide advice from small lifestyle changes through to investments in solar hot water systems or photovoltaic panels.
You will then be able to access a Green Loans subsidy provided to participating financial institutions to cover up to four years interest for borrowing of up to $10,000, to implement changes recommended in the assessment report.
Successful applicants of the Green Loans program are still eligible for the solar credits scheme which means you could get up to $7500 off the cost of a 1.5KW solar power system making the repayments on your loan attractively low.
